1. Who we are
Prima Skills Ltd ("we", "us") is a corporate training brokerage registered in England and Wales (company number 17421016), with a registered address at 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Our ICO registration reference is ZC238706.
2. What personal data we collect
- Contact form submissions: name, company name, email address.
- Enquiry details: the course you are interested in and the content of your message.
- Correspondence: emails, call notes and scheduling details created while we handle your enquiry or booking.
- Technical data: limited website usage data collected through cookies (see our Cookie Policy).
3. How we use your data
- To respond to enquiries and provide quotes or proposals.
- To arrange, schedule and administer training sessions.
- To match your requirements with suitable facilitators.
- To keep records of bookings, invoicing and contractual arrangements.
- To send occasional service updates or relevant course information, where you have not objected or have consented.
4. Lawful basis for processing
- Legitimate interests — responding to business enquiries and operating our brokerage service, where this does not override your rights.
- Contract — where processing is necessary to arrange and deliver training you have booked.
- Consent — for optional marketing communications and non-essential cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation — where we must retain records for tax and accounting purposes.
5. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are retained for 12 months. Records relating to bookings, contracts and invoices are retained for 6 years to meet UK accounting and tax requirements. Marketing contact records are retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
6. Third-party tools and sharing
We use third-party services to run our business, including a customer relationship management (CRM) system, an email and calendar provider, our website hosting and database provider, and an online meeting platform used for course delivery. These providers process data on our behalf under written terms.
We share the minimum necessary information with the facilitator assigned to your training (for example, participant numbers and session context). We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.
Where data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.
7. Facilitator and consultant applicants
If you apply to join our facilitator or consultant network, we collect the information you provide in your application, including your contact details, location, rates, experience, qualifications, written answers, and voice recordings. Voice notes are transcribed by a third-party service to help us review applications; transcripts are kept and deleted together with the original recordings.
We use this information to assess your application, to contact you about it, and, if you join our network, to match you with client bookings and manage our working relationship. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into an agreement with you, and our legitimate interest in selecting suitable facilitators and consultants.
If you give consent, we may display your first name, photo, specialism, and a short bio describing your experience and qualifications on our website and marketing materials. We will not display your surname, previous employer names, client or organisation names, or LinkedIn profile link. This choice does not affect your eligibility for bookings. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time by emailing info@primaskills.co.uk, and we will remove or update the material within a reasonable time.
For unsuccessful applicants, we keep application data, including voice recordings, for up to 12 months, then delete it. For facilitators and consultants on our network, we keep your data for as long as you remain on our network, and delete application materials within 12 months of you leaving, except where we need to keep records for legal, tax, or accounting reasons.
Because our facilitators, consultants, and clients are based in different countries, your information may be shared with, or accessed from, countries outside the UK where this is necessary to arrange and deliver bookings. Where we do this, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is protected.
8. Your rights under UK GDPR
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion — ask us to erase your data where there is no ongoing need.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data.
- Portability — receive your data in a portable format where applicable.
- Withdraw consent — at any time, where consent is our lawful basis.
9. How to make a request
Email info@primaskills.co.uk with the subject line "Data request", stating the right you wish to exercise. We will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
10. We do not sell personal data
Prima Skills Ltd does not sell, rent or trade personal data to any third party under any circumstances.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
